Wedding Advice from a Pro

With years of experience making brides' wedding cake dreams come true, Sarah offers valuable advice: Always choose what you truly want. Brides often face pressure from family, bridal parties, and friends, but at the end of the day, the wedding is your special moment. If you dream of a large, tiered cake, go for it! If there's leftover cake, enjoy it later.

Factors to Consider

Sarah recommends choosing a cake size as close to the head count as possible. Some guests may decline cake, but it's better to have more than not enough. Consider the meal size served before the cake and any accompanying desserts, as these factors affect how much cake is served. Above all, communicate precisely what you want in the cake design!

Sarah's Favorites

At Rustic Rose Hall, we know there are countless cake styles and trends to choose from. Sarah loves boho/chic cakes and newer trends like dessert shot glasses and pie tables. She also enjoys creating cookie and cupcake towers.

We asked Sugar Bumpkin Bakery to share a favorite event. One of Sarah's favorites was a wedding for a delightful couple. She accepted the booking even though it happened to fall on her birthday! She did not regret this decision. The setup was gorgeous, and the wedding party was incredibly supportive. To this day, she continues to make cakes and treats for that couple. Many clients like this sweet couple repeatedly call Sugar Bumpkin Bakery for all of their events.
