It’s your wedding day! You and your beautiful, faithful bridesmaids wake up ready to make the day the most memorable experience you can possibly create. Let's start the day off with a beautiful bridal brunch. A bridal brunch can be elegant, simple, or playful.
Â
What to Serve
You don’t want to serve anything too heavy since there may be some nervousness as the ceremony approaches. Keep it light. Heavy, greasy foods could make everyone uncomfortable in their bridal gowns later. We want to keep the ceremony as our priority.

For an elegant and traditional brunch, consider serving simple dishes such as quiche, fruit, coffee, juice, and mimosas.

A tea party is always a simple, classic touch for a bridal brunch. Offer a variety of teas, avocado toast, finger sandwiches, and tea cakes.

A playful bridal brunch could have a fun donut wall, bagel bar, or waffle bar.

What to Wear
The bridal party could wear their matching sleepwear or dressing robes that will be worn during hair and makeup. For the more elegant brunch, consider wearing light sundresses or matching pant suits. You can even take it over the top and dress for a formal English tea with white gloves, hats, and pearls. We also love the idea of matching shirts to wear during hair and makeup later.
Traditions to Include
One of our favorite traditions during the bridal brunch is the presentation of the bridesmaids’ gifts and notes of appreciation to the ladies who have helped make this day special.
Music
Consider playing soft music in the background to set the mood. It could be classical or contemporary, but keep it soft and slow. It is too early for a dance party. Save your moves for the reception later in the day. There are many great playlists on Spotify if you search "Bridal" or "Bridal Getting Ready".

Decorations
Keep it simple. You are already decorating for the wedding, so use some simple floral arrangements in your color palette and table cloths. Stick to your overall decorating theme to keep things cohesive, but don't be afraid to make it understated compared to the rest of the day.
